LUNAR LANDING 50th ANNIVERSARY

Advertising / Typography / Student Project

Goal: Following a strict brief, create a poster that would convey all the important information within a contained space.

Programs used: InDesign, Photoshop

This fictional brief is based on Aga Kahn’s celebration exhibit of the Apollo 11 lunar landing. It was presented with the goal of creating a visually attractive poster using only a limited set of colours and font. Through the use of large and eye-catching typography, it immediately draw's the viewer’s attention. The subtlety of the moon peeking out behind the M50 is both playful and an immediate nod to the exhibit theme. Carefully placed text with a bold contrast to the background tells the onlooker all the necessary information.
